Subhadra Yojana May 4 payment is set to bring relief to more than 1.23 lakh left-out beneficiaries in Odisha. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said that these beneficiaries will receive financial assistance under the scheme on May 4.

The announcement came on Saturday through a social media post by the Deputy Chief Minister. According to her, a total of 1,23,849 beneficiaries who were left out earlier will now get the money under the Subhadra Yojana.

Subhadra Yojana May 4 Payment for Left-Out Beneficiaries

The Odisha government had earlier instructed officials to identify women who did not receive the fourth installment of the Subhadra Yojana. These beneficiaries were left out for different reasons when the previous payment was released on March 8.

Officials were asked to prepare a fresh list of all eligible women who missed the fourth installment. After this process, the government finalized the names of 1,23,849 beneficiaries who will now receive the benefit on May 4.

This move is expected to help many women who were waiting for their financial support under the state government’s flagship welfare scheme.

On March 8, which was observed as International Women’s Day, the Odisha government released the fourth installment of Subhadra Yojana. On that day, more than 1.02 crore beneficiaries received financial assistance.

The state government disbursed a total of Rs 5,000 crore under the scheme during that installment. However, some eligible beneficiaries did not receive the amount because of various issues, including verification and other administrative reasons.

To make sure that no eligible woman is deprived of the benefit, the government later began the process of identifying the left-out beneficiaries.

Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida’s statement has given hope to thousands of women across Odisha. Her update confirms that the state government is taking steps to include all eligible beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana.

The May 4 payment is important because it shows the government’s effort to correct earlier gaps and ensure that the financial assistance reaches the intended people.

Subhadra Yojana is one of the major welfare schemes of the Odisha government. It aims to provide financial support to women and strengthen their economic security.

For the 1.23 lakh women who were left out earlier, this payment is a major relief. It will not only provide direct financial help but also restore confidence in the scheme.

Beneficiaries who were waiting for the money can now expect the assistance to be credited on May 4, as announced by the Deputy Chief Minister.

The Odisha government will release financial assistance to 1,23,849 left-out beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana on May 4. The announcement by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida has come as good news for many women who missed the earlier installment. With this step, the government is trying to ensure that every eligible beneficiary gets the support promised under the scheme.
