Brahmabarada: Police Water Kiosk has been set up at Tarini Chhak to help people during the intense heatwave in Jajpur district. This step was taken by the police administration to provide relief to the public facing extreme summer temperatures.
Keeping in view the severe heat, the Jajpur Police Administration has started water kiosks, also known as Jala Chhatras, at different places to quench the thirst of people. These kiosks are helping passersby, workers, and local residents get drinking water during the hot daytime hours.
Brahmabarada Police Water Kiosk Brings Relief
Under the supervision of Officer-in-Charge Jayanti Mallick, the Brahmabarada Police Station opened a water kiosk at Tarini Chhak. Along with drinking water, buttermilk, locally known as Dahi Pani, was also distributed among the public.
This public service received appreciation from local people. In this extreme summer season, such efforts are giving much-needed comfort to those traveling on roads and working outside.
The initiative shows that the police are not only maintaining law and order but also standing with the public in times of need. The water kiosk at Tarini Chhak is a good example of community service and public care during the heatwave.
