Age Limits and Relaxations

You need to be 21-42 years old as of January 1, 2026 (born between January 1, 1984, and January 1, 2005). Relaxations make it inclusive:

5 years extra for SC, ST, SEBC, women, and ex-servicemen.

10 years for PwD (40%+ permanent disability).

Up to 15 years for PwD from reserved categories.

Only one relaxation applies if you fit multiple groups. Use your High School certificate for age proof.

Who Can Apply? Qualification Check

A simple requirement : A Candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree in Library Science or an equivalent degree
from recognized institution.

Reservation applies: The Candidates Belonging to PwD / Ex-Serviceman / Sports Person when selected as
per the reservation provided for them (like; 4%, 3% & 1% respectively) shall be adjusted
against the categories which they belong to.
